Do Ghanaians have an Epileptic as CDS?

Preamble: Trust me. I am not a messenger of death but an Angel of Life and Light. I have a Third Eyes which enables me to see things which are hidden from ordinary mortals. Do not get me wrong. I am not elevating myself above ordinary citizens. But this is the Gospel truth. I have this rare gift and it comes from God and no other power or person. That’s the true me.

Sometimes my bluntness and openness have brought me close to the inevitable. Sometimes the zeal to elucidate on some issues result in a self debate. One part of me would want me to go ahead whist another part will warn me against the consequences of my treading at places where Angels at times fear to tread. But poor me, the “Yes” in me always wins for I cannot be hushed. I have to go all out and say it. This has brought me many troubles. But I am glad my Guardian Angel is always at the alert. He comes to my aid at just the material time that I need him. Always lucky, one might say.

A Worrying trend indeed! Today, I have chosen to speak on three things which are of paramount importance to the peace, security and unity of this country. The First one has to do with the health status of Current Chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Blay. As we all know, the Ghana Armed Forces serve as the First line of both Defence and attack against external aggression. It is therefore expected that personnel in the Three Branches be in the best frame of health at all time. Thus greater care is taken to check the health care of its personnel during recruitment exercises.

It is therefore worrying to hear that not just an ordinary member but the Chief of Defence Staff of the Ghana Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Blay is suffering from a disease which it had manifested itself during recruitment would have prevented him from being enlisted. 

A person’s health status is not a subject for public consumption or discussion. At the same time it must be pointed out that as a public officer his records including that of his health become public property. A person grows older, his/her health also deteriorates. Certain types of disease or ailments are hereditary in nature and we should not make much fuss about them. But be as it might be, an ailment such as Epilepsy is not a subject to be toyed with. Amongst some ethnic groups in the country, epilepsy like leprosy is a taboo and ought not to be mentioned. 

Thus it raises a lot of concern to hear that the Head of the Ghana Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Blay is epileptic. What has aggravated the situation is the fact that the CDS is a serving military officer. If he was retired before being appointed Chief of Defence Staff, one would not have expressed much worry.

But for a serving military officer of the rank of Lieutenant General and Chief of Defence Staff of the entire country’s Armed Forces to suffer from such a disease and still maintain his position as CDS is what beats my understanding.

Do the authorities want to tell us that at the time of his appointment as CDS, they had no idea that their man was suffering from such ailment? Let us even concede the fact that the symptoms manifested themselves long after his appointment. What have they done about it? What would happen if the disease gets hold of our number One Military Officer during official parades and durbars?

The ailment first manifested itself while the CDS was on official assignment in Lebanon. Since then, he has been making intermittent visits to Lebanon for treatment at the expense of the State. On his last trip to Lebanon, he was accompanied by both his wife and his Aide de Camp. They all drew per diem allowance from State coffers. But the funny thing about the whole saga is that some soldiers who are genuinely entitled to per diem are hardly given. At best officialdom or bureaucracy delays the payment to these legitimate officers, some of whom have died from frustration. Those who eventually get the money are given pittance of peanuts.

Attempts to push the CDS aside:  Whichever way one looks at the whole saga, it appears the end is drawing closer for Lieutenant General Peter Augustine Blay. President John Dramani Mahama is rooting for Air Vice Marshall Samson Oje to become the next Chief of Defence Staff should Ghanaians make the unexpected mistake of voting for the President and his Nefarious Destructive Cancer on December7, 2012.

 We have been there before: I know that the powers that be will deny that the CDS is suffering from epilepsy just as they denied that the former President John Evans Atta Mills was seriously ill. Why deny the truth. But as I have always said, sickness is like pregnancy which cannot be hidden for long. The ailment will surely manifest itself on the top military officer. What is more disgraceful than the high ranking military officer falling in a swoon and exhibiting the traits of the disease in full view of the public?

Truth is bitter. But the question is this: Is CDS Blay epileptic?

More posers for President Mahama: My second pose has to deal with the death of Former President John Evans Ata Mills. Ghanaians have raised a lot of searching questions for President John Mahama to provide answers to but he has cleverly parried those questions away with just a mere wave of his hands, and is going about his “duty” as if all was well. But all is not well. There are many searching questions waiting for answers from the current President, and the earlier he answers those questions to the best of his knowledge, the better it would be for him.

My question to all Ghanaians is this: Should those whose hands are tainted with the blood of the former President be allowed to go scot free? I sincerely think and feel they should not. When are going to get answers to the issues raised?

Let me once again reiterate the fact that the 37 Military Hospital was not informed officially before the former President’s body was sent there. Secondly, he was brought there DOA (Dead on Arrival). Also both the Minister of Defence and the CDS were not informed of the death of the former President. The CDS heard of the death though the grapevine; he was the person who personally pushed the “trolley” that contained the body of the late President.

The Commander of the Hospital even worsened the case when he chose to defend the indefensible by stating the two pediatricians accompanied the ambulance that took the body of the late President to 37 Military Hospital. Let him produce the dispatch book that accompanied the so called ambulance to the hospital. Again let him give the names of those “usurpers” and “criminal bay doctors” who prescribed children drugs to the late President. They should be arrested and prosecuted to dabbling into an area which was completely at variance with the course they had studied.

The review of John Mahama’s security details on Monday, 23^rd July, 2012: Again, let me tell you of something which might interest you and awaken your conscience to the fact that perhaps the President and his men have chosen not to tell us the truth about the death of the former President. On Monday, 23^rd July, 2012, between 6.30pm and 7.00pm, (the day before the official day given as the death of the former president) the security details of the then Vice President John Mahama was revised. On that day at such time, two armoured vehicles were sent down from Burma Camp to guide John Mahama’s residence. The armoured vehicles arrived by way of Soul Clinic Road near the Gotte Institute.

The then Vice President John Mahama has lived at his residence in Cantonment for nearly Four Years and not once was his security details revised as it happened on Monday, 23^rd July, 2012. Why was it changed a day before the day given as the death of the former President. It can only mean one of two things. One, either the former President was dead at that time. Secondly, it could be the former President had been poisoned and by morning it would have taken its toll on our late President. 

Something strange: There is another observation worth mentioning. On Saturday, 21^st July, 2012, a birthday party was organized for the late President. People believe it was at the birthday bash that the “old man” was done in by the conspirators who happen to belong to his own contraption. Doesn’t it baffle you that it was on that particular day that Nii Lante Vanderpuye, (the okro mouth thug at the Castle who told us the late President wore a juju ring) chose to launch his official campaign in his bid to snatch the “Odododiodoo constituency’s seat? Doesn’t it seem odd that this political thug who claimed to be the late President’s right hand man would choose that Saturday of all days to launch his official campaign? The answer is simple! It would have given him an alibi if the former President’s death was traced to poisoning. These are mere speculations but they are not impossible.

John Mahama’s First coup d’état was against Former President Mills: Another revelation is that when the then Vice President returned from his trip from the United States after he had launched his book “My First Coup against Atta Mills”, he never met the late President before the death of the former when though both of them have their offices in the Castle. The former President also lived there. So what happened? It was because the late President had heard of the nefarious attempts by his Deputy to use nefarious means to take over the Presidency from him. Current President John Mahama, we are told had buried a live cow at the Castle and aides of the former President had relayed the information to their boss. The late President had confronted John Mahama on the phone. The latter had said it was mere rumour and that he should get well first for they would discuss it after his arrival in the country, but it never happened. Why? It was because John Mahama felt ashamed to come face to face with his mentor, the late President. It smacked of ingratitude on the part of John Mahama, just like Brutus stabbed Caesar last at the Capitol.

Again President Mills was said to have confided in some close friends of his that “they want to kill me”

President John Dramani Mahama has told Ghanaians a lot of lies about how the late President died. He is not a man of integrity. He says he is prepared to clear himself of any allegation of corruption against him. Will he also subject himself before any probe or committee to ascertain his involvement or innocence in the untimely demise of his former boss? The only way President John Mahama could douse the flame surrounding the mysterious death of his predecessor is to submit himself to the court of the people. I am saying it on authority that President John Mahama knows more than he has told Ghanaians about the death of the former President. My Third Eye has revealed that something sinister happened in the mysterious death of Former President John Atta Mills and I will continue to ask probing questions until I get answers to the posers.

A military man as Head of Ghana Fire Service? The appointment of Brigadier General John Bosco as Chief Fire Officer does not augur well for the smooth running of the Fire Service in the country. Why, do the Appointing Authorities want to tell us there are no qualified personnel in the Service to be appointed to head the Ghana Fire Service? Isn’t this an insult to the reputation of officers and other ranks in the Service? And to add insult to injury, Brigadier General John Bosco has introduced an Agenda of recruiting personnel for the Service from mostly his Area.

President Mahama’s intimate relationship with Albin Bagbin’s former Secretary: Rumours are spreading like a wild bush fire to the effect that one Mawusi Dziransa, a former Secretary to Alan Bagbin during the period the latter served as Minority and later Majority Leader in Parliament is a concubine to President John Mahama. The same rumours have it that President John Mahama has bought her a house at Roman Ridge and that she is the lady in the video circulating all over the country purporting to be the President bonking  the ‘unknown lady’. This same Mawusi Dziransa is said to have fought with another lady who works at Parliament House warning the second lady to leave her John Mahama alone for her (Mawusi Dziransa) and that she was ‘pulled out’ from Parliament House to become a Personal Secretary at the office of John Mahama when the later became Vice President. How true the rumours are, I cannot say. But the onus lies with the President to come clean of these allegations.

The Publisher sometime ago published a story in which it stated that John Mahama had bought a house for his “partner in crime”. John invited the paper’s Editors for a discussion over the issue, but I cannot say whether the two Editors honoured the invitation or not. What does the President have to say about these allegations? 

More Rumours: Rumours again have it that President John Dramani Mahama is pushing for one Alhassan a Deputy Inspector General of Police to become the substantive IGP should Ghanaians once again make the unfortunate decision to vote back to power the Boko Haram Jihadists, the Chemical Alis, the Peter Rabbits, the Don Quixote’s, the Greedy Bastards, the Babies with Wild Teeth and the Old Evil Dwarfs. 

Epilogue: It is against this background and to hinder the actualization of this dangerous dream of the President and his acolytes that I have made it my cardinal principle to do everything within my power to bring to the notice of Ghanaians the evil agenda the Nefarious Destructive Cancer has for the Nation. And it is to its attainment that my efforts will be concentrated, be the journey long or short. I am pursuing this agenda of “Stop NDC now” as if my entire depended on it. The death of the former President should not be washed away just like that. To this end, I entreat all Ghanaians within and outside the NDC’s contraption to throw their weight behind this crusade to expose the “murderers” of the former President. We can only arrive at the Heart of the Matter and know how the late President was “done in” if we are able to kick out the NDC from power.

Time running out for President Mahama on Mills’ death

“Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble. He cometh forth like a flower and is cut down; he fleeth also as a shadow and continueth not …… Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? (Job 14:1-3).

The late President played his part and left the scene like a bad actor. In fact, his name has been expunged from the Dictionary of the Nefarious Destructive Cancer like a bad actor who frets and frets upon the stage and then is heard no more. Contrary to the Akan tradition, a “Thank You” tour was embarked upon not by the family of the deceased but by President John Dramani Mahama, sole beneficiary of Mills death. Nobody embarks on such a ‘tour’ without being accompanied by family members and the spouse of the deceased. 

Again, if we were to go by the Akan tradition, there should have been a “Forty Days” ceremony of the Mills’ death. But for some reasons best known to the President and his cabal, the ceremony was left out. But why are they determined to do everything to obliterate everything about their ‘man’ from human memory? But why and where did the former President go wrong?

Many Ghanaians have come to such conclusion because President John Dramani Mahama, the sole beneficiary of his former boss’ death did not deem it expedient to accord his master the respect he deserved. After all, he John Mahama is now the lord of all that he surveys. He has both the cake and the knife and can slice off any portion he likes. After all, they had used the man and when they realized he had become excess luggage and an obstacle to their retaining power, they looked for other ways to get rid of him. But the most pathetic aspect of the whole “chukwuchukwu” show was that the life of the late President was never allowed to reach its natural span. Yes, by omission or commission, they “murdered” John Evans Atta Mills.

Nobody is ever going to tell me that the former President was never ‘murdered’. Every action and utterance of members of the cancerous contraption, including that of President Mahama points to the fact that they had a hand in the untimely demise of President Ata Mills. Late President Mills did not die a natural death. They “did him in”. Every member of the Executives of the Nefarious Destructive Cancer, from the highest papacy to the lowest clergyman cannot escape blame in the unnatural death of the ex-president. Some deliberately acted in certain ways in order to have alibis. But their sins will surely find them out. 

In fact, President Mills ought to have been arrested if Ghana was to be a country where the rule of law prevails. I stated it in one of my numerous articles touching on the health of the late president before the unfortunate incident that Vice President under George Bush Junior’s administration was questioned when he accidentally shot a colleague during a hunting expedition. The findings were made public. Our President, John Mahama, sole beneficiary of Mills death has been prevaricating on different accounts relating to the death of his former boss. Yes, President John Dramani Mahama has lied to Ghanaians and the international community. He is not a man of integrity. 

His so-called shedding of tears on the day he was sworn in could be described as crocodile tears. Is he not the same person who said it was the death of former President Mills that opened a door of opportunity for him to become President? How could tears shed by this opportunist be genuine? I am convinced beyond all reasonable doubts that the President is not innocent of the untimely demise of former President Mills.

On two different occasions, the President gave two different versions about the death of his predecessor. On the day he acted Brutus and gained the ultimate, the day he shed crocodile tears, he told the nation and the international community that he had met the late President on the morning of his untimely demise. The late President sent him and the Chief of Staff on an errand at the International Conference Centre and that on their return from the assignment, both the Chief of Staff and he (President John Mahama) had reported back to the late President of the successful completion of the assignment. 

Nobody asked him to tell that to the nation. He on his own volition did that. According to the sole beneficiary of Mills death, both the new President and the Chief of Staff went back to their respectful offices. It was from his office that he was called by the Chief of Staff and informed that the late President’s condition had turned worst. He gave the time of death as 2.15pm.

But in an interview with Shaka Sasli of VOA, the President sang a new tune. He said he noticed that the President did not come to his office on the day before he died. He found a note asking him to represent him and the Chief of Staff to represent him at a function holding at the International Conference Centre the following day.

Haruna Iddrissu too would not be undone in giving his own version of how the former President died. He said President John Mahama, the Chief of Staff, Henry Martey Newman and his humble self were detailed by the late President to represent him at a function holding at the Arts Centre. According to him they left the venue of the programme at 2.45pm, long after the time given by President John Mahama as time of death of the late President.

Dr Kwabena Adjei, Chairman of the Nefarious Destructive Cancer had stated emphatically that the late President had died in the morning of that Tuesday, contrary to what the beneficiary of the former President’s death had told the nation and the international community.

The contradictions in various accounts by the Principal actors are too many for our comfort. Why did President Mahama refuse to tell us that Haruna Iddrissu was part of the delegation which represented the late President at the function? And why did he change his statement about reporting back to the President after they had completed the assignment? What did he hope to gain by this blatant lie? What about the time of death? John Mahama told us his former boss died at 2.30pm. But Haruna Iddrissu said he, the Chief of Staff and the current President had left the venue of the assignment after 3.30pm. How do we reconcile these different versions as to time of death? 

Haruna Iddrissu has told us that the assignment had taken place at the Arts Council. But President John Mahama says the venue was the International Conference Centre. Who is telling the truth and who is the liar?

You see the inconsistencies in various accounts about the untimely demise of the late President. If it were to be any other country but NDC Ghana, President John Mahama would have found himself in the interrogation room of the Homicide squad of the Police.

Out of the blues, Brigadier General Paul K. Kpornyo, Commander of the 37 Military Hospital attempts to exculpate the presidency from blame just as the head of EOCO did at the peak of the controversy generated by the “chukwuchukwu” award of gargantuan GHC58 million to Wayome by the trio of Betty Mould Iddrissu, Kwabena Dufuor and Barton Oduro. Instead of helping the President to clear its image, it rather dragged its name into the mud.

What does the Commandant do? Nearly two months after the untimely demise of President Mills, the man concocts a story that the late President was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance but not in a 4x 4 as was being speculated and that there was communication between the Castle and the 37 Military Hospital before the late President was rushed there.

Then came the mother of all revelations. And what was it? That the late President was accompanied by two pediatricians in the ambulance to the 37 Military Hospital! Hey, wait a minute! What am I hearing? Are my ears deceiving me?  According to Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the late President was receiving treatment for cancer, and the late President said he was suffering from sinus infection. And you send not one but two “children doctors” to treat him! For which ailment?  In this twentieth century? Not even in Don Diego de Azambuja’s time would such a drama have been enacted.

And this is the very reason while this case deserves public investigation. At best, the culprits including President John Dramani Mahama could be charged with manslaughter. The Homicide division of the Ghana Police should be invited to look into the case. The ECOWAS, The OAU and the UNO must be involved to fish out perpetrators of this heinous crime against God and humanity.

What was the motive in bringing in two paediatricians to treat the late President knowing very well that the former President was an adult, not a child? The two medical doctors should be arrested for accepting to do a job for which they are not qualified. Maybe, maybe, they prescribed some drugs which might have exacerbated the illness, leading to the untimely demise of the late president.

I have said it before and will repeat it today. President John Dramani Mahama stands accused in the untimely demise of his predecessor. He has a case to answer because he has not been candid and consistent in his statements about the death of his former boss. He has concealed certain vital information which could have helped to unravel the mystery surrounding the untimely demise of the former President. In short, the President has lied to the nation and the international community.

The NDC realized rather very late that the late President was excess baggage and so wanted a way to ‘do him in’. And so making him jog/trot at the airport before his departure to the United States and repeating same on his arrival was part of the agenda to “do him in”.  When that failed, they brought in the two paediatricians to administer “children’s medicine” on him. That exacerbated the illness which subsequently resulted in the untimely demise of the late President. That’s the only logical conclusion one could draw from the presence of the two paediatricians at the bedside of the late President.

The need for an autopsy into the mysterious death of the former President has become more relevant with the recent revelation by the Commandant of the 37 Military Hospital. After all, were they not the people who sore against Heaven and earth that the late President was as fit as a fiddle? And those to appear before the international probe must include the President John Dramani Mahama, all those on duty at the Castle during the last four days of President Mills’ life on earth. All those at the 37 Military Hospital on the day they late President was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital including the Commandant should be thoroughly be investigated. Others must include Iddrissu Haruna, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, and Dr Kwabena Adjei. The dispatch book of the so-called Ambulance which took the late President to the Hospital should also be made available to the probe. 

Anita de Souza must also be made to appear before the probe. She said the death of the late President at the time it happened was divine intervention for if it had happened at a different time it would have dimmed the chances of the NDC. Such an utterance depicts criminality on her part.

Let President John Dramani Mahama not think he can hide under the cloak of executive fiat to deny the masses an investigation into the mysterious and untimely demise of his predecessor. How long he can forestall a public investigation into the death of his predecessor is a matter of time. Time is running out for him. Already, rumours abound that he, President Mahama had buried a live cow at the Castle at the time the late President was receiving treatment in the United States. The earlier he comes out to debunk such an allegation at a public probe, the better it would be better for him. 

President John Dramani Mahama has through divine intervention which saw the demise of his predecessor and opened a door of opportunity for him to become President has the opportunity to portray himself as a man of integrity by ordering a probe into the death of his former boss. But he can like a drowning man struggle against all odds and tides by denying the people their quest for a public probe into the death of his predecessor because he is the President.

But judgement day awaits him and all those who might have contributed in one way or the other to the untimely demise of our late President. The only thing that can save the presidency and give it a semblance of respect is for President Mahama to listen to the voice of reason by acceding to the demands of the masses.

The Presidency must not think that it can use the power of incumbency to prevent what the masses are asking from happening. After all, the President, together with the NDC as well as the Electoral Commission is hell-bent on forcing the illegal creation of 45 new Constituencies on Ghanaians. Ghanaians are unanimous in their determination to bring perpetrators of such a “palace coup” to justice.

As it was in the beginning, so shall it be at the end. The President has a good opportunity of writing his name in gold by ordering a probe into the death of his predecessor.  And if John Mahama loved his predecessor, what better way to exhibit such love by ordering an immediate investigation into the sudden death of the man.  Such a probe will clear all doubts in the minds of people. Failure to do so will be an indication that the President and his people have something nasty things in their cup boards.

 They either do it now or wait for the propitious moment when the masses will march them all to the judgement seat. Yes, that’s exactly what will happen after the Great Tsunami has swept them off from power in December, 2012. Who then would save them?

CONTENTIOUS ISSUES RELATING TO THE SECURITY SERVICES

1.       Placement and Deployment in the security services.

Within the security services, Army, Police, Prisons, Fire Service and immigration, the large number personnel from the Volta Region tends to show more sympathy towards NDC. Other state agencies largely have the CEOs and HR depts. coming from the Volta Region. The sensitive nature of this trend spans several years back. We should draw attention to the NDC as a party trying to politicise all states institutions. Using the Directive Principles of State Policy on Regional representation we need to openly publish office holders for the information of our Ghanaians. 

The NDC government has turned a blind eye to the following state of affairs seriously affecting the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).These were unfortunately superintended over by the current President, HE John Dramani Mahama as the Chairman of the Armed Forces Council.

2.         The Police Service

                    i.            Senior Police Officers Current Deployment

As indicated in the GAF, the Police service current deployment is tribally as well as partisanly skewed. The table below clearly shows:

DCOP Gyening was transferred from Tamale to Ashanti Region for the election purpose. He has tried to put fear into NPP tough boys since his arrival in the region. He has made several attempts to arrest them without justification.

DCOP Ayarlingo like his Ashanti Region counterpart has been accused of intimidating NPP activists on several occasions. He should have proceeded on terminal leave since 2 September 2012 but retained because he has to do the bidding of NDC come December elections.

Chief Supt Ayittey, formerly in-charge of Madina was recently transferred to Tarkwa under frivolous and political reasons. 

According to reports, he was found to be NPP sympathizer and that his presence in Madina would not help the NDC party achieve its objective.

Comments: The transfer of DCOP Gyening and Chief Supt Ayittey as well as the retention of DCOP Ayarlingo form part of the NDC grand design to decrease the voter population especially in Ashanti and Brong Ahafo Regions. The activities of such senior officers must be monitored and exposed to the public.

(ii)               Retention of Retired Senior Police Officers

The following senior police officers who are supposed to be on retirement are being retained in view of their learning’s and sympathy to the current government.

Other Security Services

Recruitment: Recruitment is going on in all the other security services. This exercise which is supposed to offer employment opportunities to the youth and to help strengthen the services to protect the territorial integrity of the country is being done on partisan basis. There are reports that the NDC MP for Madina, Hon Amadu Sologo recently influenced the recruitment of 400 personnel into the Ghana National Fire Service.
